About Dirt Road Angels

Dirt Road Angels
The Dirt Road Angels are down to earth but took flight from the dirt road to the main stage in 2013.
The Edmonton based country rock group consists of four charismatic singer songwriters, Dahlia Wakefield, Karen Claypool, Danita Lynn, and Shila Marie. What started out as solo artists collaborating and releasing a compilation CD turned into a magical connection that has continued to gel into a solid musical project ever since.

The Dirt Road Angels have written and recorded two albums since their inception, having released ten singles to country radio thus far. The single “Extra Dirty” from their Extra Dirty album reached #1 on the Euro chart in 2019. From their modern, sexy upbeat originals to heartwarming ballads that will tug at your heartstrings, these ladies shine. Also having ventured out by revamping and adding their own harmony style to hits like “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash and the Eagles’ iconic song “Seven Bridges Road”, the Dirt Road Angels strive to always put their best foot forward for their fans.

The dynamic quartet has become known for their lush, blended harmonies, rockin’ any stage with their infectious enthusiasm, camaraderie and high energy performances. The Dirt Road Angels have performed at many high profile events opening for top country acts from Canada and the US, and were nominated for ACMA (Alberta Country Music Association) Group of the Year and Fan’s Choice four years in a row.
Whether performing with a high powered band or as an acoustic four piece, the Dirt Road Angels’ fan base continues to grow well across the board. These talented ladies love connecting with their fans and are excited to share new music again soon.
